Wow, what a great day for pullin'. We couldn't have asked for any better weather in January to pull. Close to 290 hooks and lots of new faces and tractors.

I personally want to say "way to go John" on the RMP issue. Some of the tractors were way out of line and he called their hand at it. That took guts and as far as I'm concerned, hats off to you. Keep the playin' field fair and you will keep the tractors comin' back for good fair competition and lots of fun.

See you in 2 weeks at the next pull--by the way--chalk up another great track--don't know what you're doing--but keep doing it!!!

If it is who I am thinking of he lists his location on another site as "Farmer City Il. (in Bloomington now)".

SPT You are right. It was a great day weather, track, and pullers. Also, thanks for John and all the crew for putting on such a great pull. This was the first USAP Pull we have attended in some time. For the first time on Friday night we had an opportunity to talk with John, what a great visionary for our sport of Antique Pulling! He has a lot of great ideas that will help our sport in the near future. Any pullers that have not tried pulling with USAP is definetly missing out. So come out and try it .. Be back in TWO weeks .

 Team effort in reply to S S Express , 01-22-2006 17:30:32
It is cetrtainly a team effort among everyone involved, hooking, flagging, staying in line, and just as important is seeing everyone again in good health and having fun.
Talked just a minute to Sr., great guy, have never seen him without a smile, Jr. was to busy pullin' and throwing weights. Just not enough time to visit and pull all those tractors,
maybe we should have social hour prior to pulling.
Yep, John and his crew got it together, we have come to expect nothing less, great job guys.
If we could just get Eric to crack a smile a little more often.....
In 2 weeks the big showdown at Ptown,
Juder

He's always smiling!!! in reply to Eric Bloom, 01-23-2006 17:17:58
Heck, Eric is always smilin'--he just keeps it on the inside!!! A bunch of CKAP pullers got our rooms for the Feb. pull--really lookin' forward to a good time both on and off the track.

I liked your post about the social hour SPT. I went to a training one time where the first thing we did was stand and work our way around introducing ourselves and telling them something about us. Sounded corny that morning but by the end of the week--you could look all over the room and strangers were no longer strangers and everyone had a good time. May make everyone have more respect for the next puller.

See you guys in a few weeks.

You go girl, great getting results up this quick. Beautiful weather, as always the toughest competition, and above all the fellowship among the pulllers. Fortunately we don't have the problem with RPM's on the slow side (not meaning mentally slow) but it sounded as if some were testing there skills on the fast side (not meaning like fast and loose as in women) at seeing how high they could go and keep them from coming apart. Again as you said great pull, great weather, great people to be around, and quick posting of results.
Also thanks for the goodies from the little lady in the trailer.
Juder
