hey chad.i started working on my carb today,it needed rebuilt bad,the metering stem was soilid rust.i went to take out the idle jet,and it broke off and part of it is still threaded into the carb.how can i get it out?

Use a couple of small drill bits, start small, and work your way up. I drill them till I see threads, sometimes get lucky, and the broken piece comes out with the drill bit., just keep gradually drilling the center of the brass stem, it will get thin enough to either come out, or come out in pieces. Ive got a few spare carb bowls if you cant git r fixed. Chad
