What is the largest bore and stroke combination possible out of the 466 block to be used in hot farm pulling.

640 cubic inch is reachable. These motors last as well. Most of your prostock guys are running around here and they turn alot more than 3000 rpm's

I'm gonna try to build a 585 motor to run at 3000 rpm's.

There was a 4455 JD with a 585 pulling here last year that turned 3500 RPMs without any problems. It consistently outpowered a 640 c.i. 1150 Massey also turning 3500.
