USAP Results Are Posted in reply to JOHN LAMPKIN--USAP, 02-06-2006 07:54:16
Same from us John, another great event. And wow, what a track, I think I now hold the world's record for longest pull riding up on the wheelie bars, it started at half track and went another 80 feet!!! Man that thing was bitin'--and you were right, Doug learned his lesson, I guess you know who will have the weights on the front next pull!!!

Thanks Tracey for the quick posting of results, as always John and crew did it up right. I bet ole Smiley was sure getting tired of raising side curtains for RPM checks. Saw as much good natured razzing and competition as ever before.
Although, I beleive I do need to go back to Tractor Pulling School, do you have any recommendations on where I may hone my much needed mechanical and driving skills???

If you find one sign Doug up!!! in reply to SPT, 02-07-2006 11:16:53
Not sure of the best school to attend...if you find one that also teaches husbands where to properly place weights on their wife's tractor be sure to enroll Doug. He told me how sorry he was all the way home--after 16 years does he really think I'm that gullable to think it was an accident that his tractor didn't come up and he out pulled me. I think my best option is to fire him and hire me a new pit crew, but the last time I said I was going to do that--I packed my own weights for a few pulls--so I better just take the lose and go on down the road.
By the way, wasn't ol' Smiley just too cool all weekend, down there with his gun and all. I told him I was going to get him a holster and then he could pratice his quick draw moves.

Its a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it.
plus it is good to see the front of a tractor for a change instead of the back. and not to have to look at everyones backside.
