i like to use the old fashioned formula i learned studying for me steam engineers license, bore times bore times .7854 times stroke times number of cylinders. ask denny what your compression ratio is.

306 CID....TAKE THE BORE, DIVIDE BY 2, SQUARE THAT, THEN MULTIPLY BY 3.14. THEN MULTIPLY BY THE STROKE AND MULTIIPLY THAT BY THE NUMBER OF CYLINDERS. ANTIQUETRACTORPULLING.COM HAS A RPM CHART AND A FILL IN THE BLANK FOR CID. HOPE THIS HELPS.

I come up with 284.2 ci from 255.5 originally but thats my math, check out where Bonanza said and let us know I took 4.31 x 3.1416x5.25x4=284.2 this formula works for me: bore x pie x stroke x # of cylinders
also take ci divide by 61.02 and round up to tenths that gives liters. I found this in a book years ago comes in handy

I put this up before, but it really helps

www.angelfire.com/fl/procrastination/motor.html

It gives both CID and compression, I used it to figure out what my chrysler 300 had.

Good Luck

Jason
