Do you really see a HP increase, and if so about how much? Or is it better just to get the dist. recurved? Will not be turning over 2000 Rpm's by our rules. Have not played with either yet. What do you think? Thanks

You can't go wrong if you get an MSD. You can manually create a spark and it is the most wicked thing you have ever seen. At low rpms it will fire 3 times and back off to 2 and then 1 as you build rpms. It is probably still hitting twice at 2k. You would be hard pressed to flood out. I am guessing but you probably won't foul out a plug either. Use the best wires and ignition parts you can when using one of these. If it ever jumps out and gets you thru a bad cap or wires you might hurt someone or yourself trying to get away if it doesn't knock you straight down.

normally I use aftermarket electronic ignition for the sinple fact I don't like to fuss with points.seems like the farther from home I get the more trouble pionts give.as far as power increase I never noticed any but I never dyno tested any most I've used were between $75 and $125
