My W-9 is stock all the way. I have 600 lbs wheel weights on rear wheels. I have 800 lbs suitecase weights mounted on the platform under the seat. she now weighs 7940 lbs with me on it. How does this setup sound to the guys that knows a lot more than i do about the w-9s. Do you think the front will try to come off the ground enough to transfer the load to the rear wheels . Thanks for any and all Help. I will be pulling it for the first time the end of April at our show in Graham, Texas on the last weekend. Texas Red

The next step is to weigh the tractor. Your front axel wt. should be around 2700 & the rear axel wt.around 5200. I would make provisions to move the hangons forward or back if needed.

A good place to start on most tractors is 65% on the rear wheels & 35% on the front. This is with a 18" high drawbar.

When pulling on a standard drawbar at 18" high a good place to start is 65% of your total weight on the rear wheels & 35% on the front. This will give you a good starting point for most tractors.
