Will a D-17 rearend fit in a WD-45? and will it slow the ratio down? Has anyone tried this? Someone tried to tell me it would work. I'm looking to slow my 45 down a little.

Is there any difference in the d-17 if it has a gas or diesel engine or are they all the same ratio?

I've been told it will work and is the same ratio as a wd45 deisel rear end. Thais is only the rear ring and pinion, like a cars rear end not the trans gears.
