Looking for some info to gain about 15 or so h.p. Trying to keep it inexpensive...pistons are 4 1/4 in. are aluminum pistons available in this size? Any and all help would be appreciated.....Thank you

HAD a Bjd bored block 250 thousands used W-9 Ih pistons they are high dome 4.5 inches you have to work on pin hole have bushings made to fit b pin will work have done it. Any other info needed e-mail me thanks TVMAN

You can have slugs turned to fit the top of the piston, maybe about an inch in height, tapered at the valve end, drill a hole in the top of the piston and bolt it on. Weld the nut to the bolt on the inside to keep it from coming apart. I know it will increase hp, but how much? A friend of mine did this 25 years ago.
