Did you give the Turtle a rebuild? I'm sure you'll have it poppin' in its best form. I think I'm about ready with my 700. I decided not to rebuild my weight brackets yet and practice with it a little more like it is. I got to thinking about it and I've only tskrn that tractor to 5 pulls. That's not enough practice to get started good. I think this is going to be a good year for us here. I look for this to turn into a pretty big pull. We're in a good location for people to come from every direction. It's easy drivin' to get here too. See ya later.

I don't know if that question was for Turtle or me. Turtle told me he was going to run the 12 MPH class this year. He said he put a pair of rabbit ears on that 420 it really moves now. Might have found a new market for carrot juice!!!

Arkansas Tractor Pullers 2006 Season.
May 27 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas
Jun 17 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas
Jul 1 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas
Aug 5 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas
Sep 2 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas
Sep 30 1:00 PM Bradford, Arkansas
Nov 4 11:00 AM Russell, Arkansas

I'm just assuming, but there will probably be another pull the 2nd weekend in October in Bradford at the FunFest to benefit the Bradford Fire Department. I'll have to check on that one. These tracks have been some of the best tracks I've ever pulled on. I've heard several people say that. Perry's crew runs a smooth pull too; not a bunch of rushing around and yelling and stuff like that. Safety is #1 issue with them. If you'll give Perry your address, I'm sure he'd be glad to mail you the info on classes and rules. Heck, give it to me and I'll mail you a copy of mine. If you have a fax number I'll fax it to you. Come on down and join us.

Minnesota Yankees are great! We'd love to have you. To get to the pull site at Russell from Little Rock, take Hwy 67 North out of Little Rock. Continue to Exit 60. At the end of the exit turn left, back over the highway 1/4 mile to STOP sign. Turn left and go about 2 blocks to next STOP sign across railroad tracks. Turn right onto Hwy 367 and go about 1 mile to the first paved road that crosses back over the railroad. Just follow the signs from there. It's about 1 more mile. It would be extremely easy from Little Rock - all 4-lane except the last 2 1/2 miles or so. If you'll come before November I'll almost promise you it won't be cold. LOL! The Bradford pull is only 5 more miles North. Both are excellent tracks. Hope to see you at either place.

Just take 67/167 north to the Russell exit (#60) and go across the interstate to the railroad, cross it and turn right (north) on 367 about one mile to the first road to the right (Horseshoe Lake Road) go across the railroad and the interstate again and take the first road to the right (Womack Road) then about 3 tenth of a mile on left and you're there.

My mom made several calls over the years to her sisters in NLR, and they compared temps, -30F is cold! Nov. in Ark. would probably be T-shirt weather for me!! I might be a bit dissapointed if I didn't see a few good running Cases though!!
