How well will a AC 200 pull in farm stock class in 7000-8000 ibs. class , in comparison to other brands. A friend of mine told me these were not in the winning circle. Thanks for ahy help.

The one thing i have noticed is that if everything is actually Farm Stock, ( which is rare...) and all of the tractors are comparable in size then there is no clear cut best one. I"ve seen some really stout ones in all colors and as long as you don"t bog your tractor out, spin out, and guess at your weights right ( if you can use hanging weights in various locations) you got as good a chance as any of the others.

That being said, it"s not real likely that your gonna find true farm stock tractors all the time. But, what the heck. pull out there, hook up, smile real big, and enjoy the sound of your tractor as it is under a load. If you enjoy listening to that it doesn"t matter where ya place, you"ve already won :)

I guess it all depends on what is meant by farm stock. There used to be some Allis 180, 185, 190XT, 200 and 7000 AC pullers around in Michigan, that would do well against the other brands in a farm stock or the warmed up classes. At the same time it is hard to keep up with the IH's and Deere's with the bigger engines if things start getting "loose".

One statement that holds true about everything. Every dog has his day.
