I pull farmstock. All I got in the H is an overbore kit and gas head, 15.5 38 uncut tires. Mostly pull in first gear 3 to 4 mph classes. I really would like to make the trip, but the way gas prices are, don't want to make the trip if I'm going to be outclassed in farmstock. Some guys up here pull bored and stroked tractors even in stock classes and it just burns some of us up. Thanks for all the directions...

Poplar Bluff. I've heard that there are not many farm stock tractors, they are mostly modified.

Come down through Newport like in the other directions, except take Bradford Exit 65. Keep right and stay on that road until you get to the railroad. DON'T CROSS THE RAILROAD. Take a left on the last street BEFORE you cross the railroad and keep straight. Track is about 1 to 1 1/2 miles on left. Can't miss it. Try to make it to both tracks if you can. I think you'll like them both. Hopefully we can run two sleds, but if not, we'll live with that.

There have been more Farmstock than Open in the past and now Perry has added the Farmstock II which allows top-cut tires if you have those. I think there have been some people wanting that. If not, the regular Farmstock is still there. That will probably be more popular here for a while. If you'll email me, I'll send you the rules, classes, schedule etc. Poplar Bluff is an easy trip. You're on Hwy 67 almost all the way. Just take Hwy 67 down through Pocahontas to Newport, Arkansas. When you get to the first traffic light in Newport, take a left and go about 1/2 mile to the new 4-lane Hwy 67. Turn right onto 4-lane and head South again. Russell is Exit 60. I'll give directions to there first since that's where most of the pulls will be. Take Russell Exit 60 and keep right to stop sign. Take a left, cross railroad and turn right at stop sign. Go 1 mile North to first paved road to right back across the railroad and 4-lane. Take first right and follow signs. You're almost there. You've got good road all the way. The track is less than 3 miles after you get off the 4-lane. Can't beat that!!!!! Should take you between 2 and 2 1/2 hours.
