MW dyno questions

Just got an older M&W dyno. It's a smaller one 90 or 95 hp. I was wondering what kind of fluid to put in it,(it's been drained) thanks

Andy, I used to own a dyno similar to yours and the book on it said to use hydraulic oil. Like the other post said, be sure the coils will not leak before filling with oil, and also be sure to cover the coils with oil to keep condensation off of them. Hope this helps. Mike

10 weight non detergent. If you don't use non detergent it will foam and then you could have problems.

On our 100 hp M&W the owners manual says straight 10 weight oil.Hope this helps.Jack(TN).

Use Hydraulic Oil. You might want to run water threw it first, to see if you have any leaks in your copper tubes.
