We would like to Thank everyone that came out and pulled with us at the Charleston, MS pull today. A special Thanks to all of those of you that put in your time working this event. Remember the pull next Saturday, June 10 at Grenada Lake, Thunder on Water. 500.00 King of the Hill 7200lbs. (Maybe Queen of the Hill) if the Black Widow shows up. That pull starts at 11:00.

Ol Gray, It happens to us all, I know how you felt, it happened to me last weekend at the Sugar Farm. I stole a strap from my son that he ties his 4 wheeler down with to put on them. The guy that was talking about the flag had been flagged, our rules are if the chain is hooked to that tractor when they fall off, your DQ'ed.

Yeah , I knew when I saw them on the ground that I had let the "CRS" take control again. But you know the saying, @#$% happens. Ol Murphy just had a good day. I guess I'll get to live this one down if I put it in our newsletter. If I don't Sweeper and Spotter will remind everyone.

How many hooks and tractors did we have?
I know I had a great time even though I got DQ'd!!!!! !! Those weights will be tied down good at Grenada. I need to get a first place trophy off of Cottonpicker.

Ol Gray, I don't see how you were DQ'd for the weights coming off. The pull was actually over and the flagger had red flagged you which I thought meant "stop, the pull is over". Am I wrong??

Very good job by the Dixie Iron crew, overcame slinging a belt on the sled and kept the crowd there while repairing it. Great competition, great fellowship, great weather, makes for a great pull.

Grey A, you can borrow a strap from me if you need it, it is slightly torn and frayed but may hold up.
