Pullers,

I"m seeking any opinions on the sled monitor system produced by Agri-tronix or information on any other competing devices. Our club has a purchasing decision to make ... quickly.

Thanks to you all,

Doug

We run them on both of our sleds. The only concern is that within the first 50 feet we can stop and pick another gear. If you stop for longer than a couple of seconds, it will reset and the operator will have to restart you. I suppose thats only a problem for someone learning a new tractor, and don't know what gear to pull. The reader boards are great and keep a running distance. We created advertising boards around the screens to help pay for them.

We use on in our club. The only problem we had, may be operator error, was after 115 hooks had to reset system and the owner of the sled and system forgot the calibration code. Used it again this weekend, had book and code, all went well.

Had two at Tunica last year, one on the Kentucky Outlaw sled and one on the Mean Green sled and had no problems after 861 hooks. They really made scoring easy.

Bought one last year, best investment we ever made besides building sled, good people to work with, no more re-pulls, measures to 1/100 of a foot or 1/100 of an inch....up to 99.99mph, set horn where you want for speed limit classes, did I mention best investment we ever made????
