I was just curious who these three fellas are. It seems to me there is a lot of controversy surrounding them. What is the deal? Where do they live? Where do they pull? What do they pull? who did what to whom? Etc. I don't want to start a big argument here, I'm just curious about the situation. I'm really not interested in hearing that so-and-so is a no-good s.o.b that cheats constantly, etc. I am just looking for the basic facts. Thanks in advance, G-MAN.

All three have pulled NATPA falling somwhere between 3750 to 5000 pounds. Bear sold his 880, good tractor.
590 + or - cubic inches. Maxed out motor. Somewhat reliable with a custom steel crank.
Currently waiting on a 460 being built by lemmons.

Tilley sold his 88, good tractor, steel crank, maxed out, 590 + or - cubic inches. Both engines built by Duke.

Brooks, three of them, a couple 460's and one 560.
Probably built by lemmons. Probably 500 + cubic inches. Good tractors.

No real controversy that I know of between them.
Its just like NASCAR, you pick your favorite and everyone else is cheating unless your guy wins.

These and others have taken antique tractor pulling to the next level and have enough cash to make it happen.

Brooks, three of them, a couple 460's and one 560. Not built by Lemmons. Probably under 500 cubes. The 560 is more than likely the strongest Div 5 tractor

The only reason the 560 might be the toughest is due to the way out of reason RPMS that NATPA allows them to run!!

Brooks built by Murphy Motor Service in Missouri,,Tilley/Bear done by Duke. Bears new 460 is being done by Lemmons. Brooks 560 best tractor 4000-5000#, no question! Bears NEW 460 will be compared to Brooks...Bears may be the NEW best 460!?! Tilley never won enough to get to their level!!

My phone has rang off the hook about this stupid board. I'm humbled that all of you keep up me on such a regular bases. I guess most of you are very busy and still find time to keep up with little old me, so to that I say thank you! But instead of talking about something you know nothing about, just call and ask it's much easier to get the correct info. For all of you that have come to my defense THANK YOU! But I promise you I can take care of all the big mouths! They never ever amount to a hill of beans when all is said and done! I'll try to keep ya'll up dated on my happenings on a more regular bases. In the mean time I'm taking nominations for my fan club president.

Had Tilley sat on the NATPA rules commitee he too would have won many more pulls. NATPA is a buy your way into, then buy all the pulls you want, type of organization.
