Nope. We rely on rust and grease for coatings.

Sorry, don't usually pay much attention to the red ones, my rear view mirror is broken. Is that an M or H? What weight class is that in? Was that exhaust pipe used, or new? Looks like it could be trimmed a tad if it was new.

Love to pics! this may sound odd but do you have one of the sled? From what I could see it seems to have a canopy over the entire sled and I have never seen one like that before. If you don't and get a chance to could you get one for me and send it? That would be interesting.

On the pulling note, how did they pull? Ya know, paint don't make them pull! Mine are proof of that...LOL!!!!

Well, I just slapped the 18.4x38s on it because it kept spinning the 15.5s out in 2nd gear. It ran fairly well in Div. 3. But I need more motor. Came close to a WD9 that was in 2 of my classes, but I wasn't turning enough rpms nor was my tractor weighted right, as you can tell from one photo. I had a 2nd, 3rd and 1st in 7100 lbs by myself. I am just trying to get all the little oil leaks stopped before that I put the paint on it. I always hear it from my co-workers when they see a picture of my tractor, "You'd think a guy that works for CNH could afford paint for his own tractor!"
I just shrug it off and say paint don't make the puller.

What kind of clay is that? It looks black. I guess I"m used to the red clay we have here in GA.

That'd be black gumbo. Get a little water in it and it is just as tough as red clay. And it is sticky.

Nice pics. Glad to see you are moving up to Div 3. We were in Floresville that weekend. Tractor is running really good. Getting all we can out of the current setup. We beat Marcus and his G last weekend. New motor will be the upgrade but I think that money is going to a diesel.

There is a pull this coming weekend in Elcampo on the 17th. Should be a good big turnout.

We are making headway on a fellows diesel that we are helping him build, Chasis is almost done then on to the engine. After his is up and running we are going to start ours.

see if you cant make it to Elcampo Justin, not that far of a drive. Corsicana is a little far but the rust color will fit in with all the rice tractors from on the coast.

Corsicana.. No pulling there.. haha.. We'll be in Stephenville this weekend.. (17th.) ElCampo's a little too far... Marcus has an A.. unless he's got a new ride... Still don't have the G as light as I planned.. still have a few tricks left... but going to get the rest of the tractor finished first... JDGnut

Well, I am planning on heading to El Campo this weekend. We'll have to talk about my motor. You might have some ideas.
I am living in Wichita Falls after relocating from Racine, WI. So, hopefully I'll get to run a little more often. Hopefully I'll see you this weekend.
