I'd like to welcome all of you to our next big Fowler, MI 2-day pull (a.k.a. "Weekend at Bernie's") at the Fowler Conservation Club Grounds. There is food, camping, shade, lights, bleachers, and a beautifully groomed 300 foot clay power track. The dead weight pull is Saturday and the transfer sled is Sunday. Our last Westphalia pull was very well attended and I'd like to thank everyone for coming. I hope to see you all at Fowler. Classes include:

Dead Weight
Barnyard 2.5
Modified 3.0
Mod+ 4.0
Superstock 5.0

With concerns or questions regarding scheduling, directions, or rules, please give me a call at 517-726-0484 or shoot me an e-mail at edberry78@hotmail.com.

Hi guys, I was very happy with the Westphalia pull, and do like the new system of classes, but when I took a set of rules home and read them, I noticed that wheelie bars and kill switches are required in the 4 and 5 MPH classes. Most of us in those classes didn't have those items, was this just being overlooked at Westphalia? I just want to make sure I get in the right classes, or don't load up and go to be told I can't pull. Thanks, Ken

Ken, we are giving everyone a grace period to get these saftly features on their tractors. We will start mentioning it at the drivers meetings. We haven't enforced it yet as we wanted to see how these rules worked out. If by the end of the season we decide to keep them in place they will be required next year. So in the meantime they are encourged but you can pull if you don't have both of these. So far we have had a lot of favorable comments with the new rules and attendence in the year of $3 gas has been pretty darn good.

Thanks, LRN

Thanks for the clarification Leroy, I'm going to try and make at least one day. BTW, somebody take an umbrella out to Roman, he must be getting wet standing out there looking at the rain gage. LOL Ken

Hi Ethan, I would also just like to remind everyone that this weekends pull will also include the 7,500 lb. class. The 2,500 lb class will start the dead weight on Sat. The 7,500 lb class will pull first on the transfer sled on Sunday. We had over 150 hooks at the July 4th pull. We are getting quit a few new tractors with the new rule set-up. It seems to be working very well.

Thanks, LRN
