Arthur Illinois Tractor Pull

The Arthur, ILLINOIS Lions Club is putting on a tractor pull on Friday August 4th at the Moultrie Douglas county fair grounds in Arthur, Ill. Pull starts at 6:30 p.m. Classes include;

4500lb, 5500lb, 6500lb open speed classes

Tractors must be 1959 and older.
18.4x38 tires. Cut tires allowed.
20% over stock RPM.
No down draft carburators.
No fuel mixtures.

Scales will be on the grounds. $20 entry fee.
Plenty of parking. Street pickup classes will be 6500lb, and 7200lb, and will run between the tractor classes.

Also Saturday the 5th there will be a 10 & 12,000lb ISPA class and 12 & 14,000 lb Modified farm blower class. Starting at 3:00 p.m.

No, I don't think Ron will be there to HELP set the sled. BUt I could be mistaken.

As far as the minnies go, There is no set rule against them. Although I don't know of any that have said they are coming. Guess you will have to show up and find out. Those minnies always seem to be a hot topic at all of the other pulls I go to I did see a case 900 over at ashland and Jacksonville over the weekend that was pretty stout.
