I was curious, do any of you carry insurance on the antique tractors that you take to shows/pulls? I heard of people having their antique tractors appraised and insured. Do any of you do this?

I have State Farm on my Gold 1937 John Deere, only comprehensive. It is insured for $100,000 and the premium is $183.54 yearly. At the Berrien Springs, Michigan show the Hagerty Insurance agents were there and actively trying to insure the show tractors, I intend to give them a chance when my policy expires

I have it on 2 of my tractors and I also found out that the company that its with doesn"t like to pay out if you have a claim. That is on cars and trucks anyway.
It cost me $120 for a year for 2 tractors that were apraised for $4500 each.

Homeowners insurance won't cover tractors being hauled around for show or pulling. Only good if being used on the farm. Found this out myself when insuring my tractors plus my "dj" equipment. Only covered when at home.
