Just figured I'd check in and make sure you have a good dove field lined up for me sat. Will probably only be bringing 12-15 buddies this time so you should be able to figure how many Boston Buttes, hush puppies, tater salad, iced tea, etc we'll need. By the way, anything I need to bring?

Flogger, You must have been reading my mind. The Hen and I have been planning to do exactly what you are talking about. I know It's hard to believe but we were also going to have some Brunswick Stew to go along with the BBQ and maybe a cold keg after the shooting is over.
BTW, I'll be glad to take that Illegal "M" to the pull for you Sat. I have been disqualified with everything I have carried so far so one more won't make any difference.

The Rooster!

That sounds mighty good 'Rooster. I like good Brunswick stew. Don't go to any extra trouble but if you have time, crank us a freezer of ice cream too. I'm sure that keg will really hit the spot after the guns are put away.

By all means try your luck with the M. Showing up at a antique pull with a John Deere does several things really. First off they see that deere and they know you have money... And anybody knows if one of those old 2 poppers will pull anything more than a parade float full of jr high cheerleaders there is probably some cheating being done, so the tech folks are naturally gonna watch you like a hawk. You might just slip my tractor in down there and bring home the gold...
