i have a 88 with a 1800 engine.if it is 3 7/8 bore stock if i made it 3 15/16 bore how much more hp would it give me?also what could i do to the head?would bigger valves help?

I would agree with 1951 but also why would you only bore it 1/16? Why not 1/8 or 3/16 AT LEAST.

You would gain alittle h.p. You might port the head and manifold some. I would not reccomend bigger valves if close to stock cubic inches.
