Hi my name is Stephen ,
I have a John Deere model G . That has had the weights changed in the governor , and now has model B weights in it . People have told me that by having B weights in the governor that this should make my tractor more responsive. What do you guys think of this . thanks very much. Stephen G

Stephen on my puller '51 "G" I installed B govenor weights,to cut down on govenor action at full throttle and I think is pretty effetive. If you are just loafing along it will pulsate a little,I don't think you would want to do this on a plow tractor. I have ran without any weights, but it is a little dangerous, when you are not hooked to sled, the rpms are hard to control boy she will turn on though. Experiment with them that's the best way to learn. Garland's two cents worth
