If I put the first reduction gear from a late styled B into an early styled B, how much would it gear it down. Will it be enough to prevent my B from stalling out in first? What kind of pistons are you guys using with the normal bore? Are there stepped pistons available for these tractors? I have been told to get a gas carb for more power. What are the differences between the different DLTX carbs? If I drilled out the holes on my early B carb would it create the same effect or are there more differences in the early and late carbs? Are there any bigger valves that can be made to fit in this head? How much power can be gained with a head ported and polished? Does a cooler running gas manifold help much? I have a bunch ofquestions. Any input would be appreciated.
