The unstyle A heisler head has a cone that fits in the chamber. It looks like a bra! The tip of the cone - If I can remember I think is around 15/16 long. You can run high dome pistons .125 over with a late model crank 6 3/4. 52 to 55 horse tractor. YES you have to run racing gas. Nice set up.
Good Luck!

Which heisler do you want to use? Heisler is not GENERIC for Deeres or any machine they were designed for. As for av-gas go ahead valve guides are on there way, tell the U.P.S. man

Haven"t needed valve guides yet, and I"ve been runnin this setup for over 10 years. A little Marvel Mystery Oil in each can of av-gas keeps the U.P.S. guy away.

To my knowledge it should, you will probably have to use high octane gas such as aviation fuel, or Torco racing gas. To my knowledge the heisler head is a flat head. I have the flat head on my JD-G with high compression aluminum pistons and it work well, but I have to use aviation fuel or it will not run right, it spark knocks on regular unleaded gas. Hope this is the information your looking for.

2 Cylinder - You may have a flat head on your G but it is probably a John Deere head. If you have a styled G (1941 was the last unstyled model) that was very common to get a little more HP out of the old girl. Or if you are a puller it could be one from Jerry's out of Wichita Ks. I don't believe Heisler ever made a head for the G.
