I just heard about a new Interstate spur running from I-55 to Tunica. Is this true? Is it open, now? Sounds like it would make the trip out of Memphis alot better. Thanks

It is I-69 and is open. Take I-55 south from Memphis. The I-69 exit will be 8-10 miles (about 2 miles north of Hernando). Can't miss the big Tunica signs....Spotter

So now we can miss all them lights and being cut off? That will be nice.We went down 55 years ago because we turned too soon but we did end up there anyway,we seen lots of open farmland and long flat stretches of road.Good thing we was running early and the law wasn't out there checking radar,he he.

Is this cut off north or south of the scales, don"t care about crossing scales unless necessary. Would rather come down the old road with no hassle.

Come the old way down 61. Probably not 5 min difference either way. I fully understand the concern of the scales. The only scales that have ever bothered me is Miss. and Mo. Have a safe trip and we will see ya there. H.H.

Thanks for the info, have allotted plenty of time to get there, so no need to be in a hurry and run into unnecessary problems. Trip down 61 was not at all bad last year and gonna be running with a couple of other pullers and would prefer a nice uneventful trip.
Thanks again,
