I'm building a 6.5x 9 G for a customer. He wants to use the stock F900R cam and a set of high ratio rockers from Murphy's. A 597 cube G is not that big and I guess I'm just wondering if this will be enough caming to feed it. The rockers are $300, and the F900 is a good stock grind, but I think he would be better off with a regrind from Berry or Iske and forget the rockers. Anyone out there running this combo? All opinions welcome.

I am running a 623 cu. in. G with stock cam, it does have shortened rocker arms and is working real well. I have a set of rockers that have been shortened more than the ones I am running now. You might want to check with Allan Schooler about shortening you some rockers. I have not put the shorter ones on my tractor yet. Hope this helps.

I hear Allan Schooler has a little bit of a representation problem, so I would be careful about asking his opinion. I would ask the cam experts.
