IHFan -"Got speeds for a 560 on your chart? 34 and 38 info would be great? "

I need to know your rpm and your tire size and what gear you need speeds for.

Thanks for the info,if you get a chance could use the same info for the 16.9 x 34's.
Is the formula simple? Say I wanted to increase the RPM's to 2377, 20% over stock.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Currently the tractor has 18.4 x 38's on it, but also run it sometimes with 16.9 x 34's.

If you could give me the speeds for 1, 2, 3rd with both size tires it would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that you ment 16.9-38's which FYI have the same rolling circumference as 18.4-34's. If you do need 16.9-34's let me know.

The 560 was available with a standard 1st gear and a fast 1st gear. It was also available with a standard 3rd gear and a heavy tillage 3rd gear package that also effected the 4th gear speed. The heavy tillage package slowed down both 3rd and 4th. So hopefully I can explain this so that you understand. All speeds are at 1981 engine rpms.

18.4-38 tires
std 1st and std 3rd- 1st=2.76, 2nd=4.88, 3rd=6.84
fast 1st and std 3rd- 1st=3.17, 2nd=4.88, 3rd=6.84
std 1st and heavy 3rd- 1st=2.76, 2nd=4.88, 3rd=6.12
fast 1st and heavy 3rd- 1st=3.17, 2nd=4.88, 3rd=6.12

16.9-38 tires
std 1st and std 3rd- 1st=2.63, 2nd=4.64, 3rd=6.51
fast 1st and std 3rd- 1st=3.01, 2nd=4.64, 3rd=6.51
std 1st and heavy 3rd- 1st=2.63, 2nd=4.64, 3rd=5.82
fast 1st and heavy 3rd- 1st=3.01, 2nd=4.64, 3rd=5.82

hope this helps
