Use the stock WC head. It will boost your compression. I have a WC which I was told it had a 45 kit. But for a long time I thought that it didn't have the kit because I was told you had to change the heads. If you us the stock you can increase the compression. My tractor has over 200lbs. of compression per cylinder.

I must be missing something on my WD\WC heads, the ones I have ,the wc ports are smaller, the porting is more restrictive, the wd head has much better flow to it and both are flat heads ,ie the surface is flat with the valves opening into the combustion chamber, the wc spark plugs are recessed, the wd 's are flush. the wd head is a replacement for the wc because it is a better designed head.the wc head was all fuel, the wd/wd45 head is gasoline,we refer to them as the tall wead and the short head.OT

The rods are the same in both tractors - part number 229861. Use your old rods if they are straight. They're strong.
