I"ve got a lever to the left of my brake pedals.Almost like the lever to engage my PTO. Is this a automatic brake release????Mine is not attach to nothing but has spring on the end just hanging

If it looks like a pull ring on the top and goes down to the brake pedal lock area, that is what it is. There should be one more piece that goes between the pull and the brake lock, that when you pull up it pushes down on the front of the pedal brake lock and locks that brake on like a park brake.

Lever is supposed to be attached to brake lock-latch so you can release parking brakes with the handy lever.
