We are looking at possibly adding a dead weight pull as an event along with the tractor show we have had for several years. We have a sled and weights but my backgroung is more with a transfer sled. Are weight classes used or is it normaly a percentage only kind of deal? Question two is the standard pull length 20 feet. And drawbar height at 20 inches or lower. Thanks for any input. If it is a go this event will be in Noth-Central Kentucky. Thanks for any input.

I have a set of rules for our deadweight club if you would like a copy, I can email em to you. Email me, or what have you. Its percentage based, but ours is 10 feet to the full pull. Basicly open on the drawbar, except its 20 inches high max,,,, the sled must stay in bounds on narrow tracks, wide tracks,, everyting must stay in bounds. Other than that,, its a simple deal. tractor weight, divided by weight pulled. ChadS
