With out any doubt it is the easiest way to gain some cubic inch and compression. If you want the most bang for the buck stroke the crankshaft behind the Power-block. We run Power-blocks stroker cranks and Heisler heads on B's and the combination tuned accordingly seems to work pretty good for us. The hardest part other than the physical labor, is finding the Power-block and Heisler head to work with. A Power-block is a very good start and plenty if you are going to use it in a later B with a creeper gear, but if you are running pace classes and are competing against other tractors that can maintain pace limit you will also need a tractor capable of pulling the sled at the same pace to be consistently competitive which brings the need for the stroker crank and other alterations. Not to rain on your parade just some facts not fiction as I have been pulling B's in 3.5 and 4.0 mph for over 20 years. DW
