Never been here on the pulling board before, although I've seen some pulls but nothing really too serious or competitive, just for fun I guess. I have a friend who is trying to sell me three MH tractors, a 101, a 44 and a 55. The 55 is just too big for me to consider but I think I might have read that it is reasonably sought-after in the states as a pulling tractor. I guess my question is .. "is it"? I can only buy all three as a package and I thought that maybe someone down there might consider it for that purpose, otherwise I'd have to pass on it ... the 55's up here are somewhat hard to move.

From what I have seen over the past 32 years that a 55 in a stock class is to front end heavy. I would either go for the 101 or the 44. I'm in favor the 44 because thats what I pull along with a 77 Oliver in Div. 2 local pulls ( NE Ks.). The biggest problem with the 44 for Div. 2 is the limit of 13.6 tires which leaves you with only the one class (4500) to pull in with the correct size tires.
