I'm looking for a Heisler Head for a late A. Is there one to be found?

Also, I've got a late head now (A2325R), is there a better head to use with a smaller combustian chamber than the 2325. What I'm getting at is, is it worth shaving the 2325 over one of the other heads for a late A?
Thanks

Heisler head on unstyled A will get you around 7 to 8 horse based on my dyno, .125 over high compression pistons will get you 7 to 8 horse based on my dyno. Heisler Head $700.00 to 800.00 then to have it rebult $700.00 to $800.00 Pistons $420.00. Get my drift.

You speake of unstyled A Heisler head rebuild. I have one and have bought new unstyled A guides and valves to put in it. I will have to shorten the new guides a little from each end. The O.D. is correct. Am I heading in the right direction with this or is/was there a better way to skin this cat?

Good luck finding a styled A heisler, and when you do, make sure your pockets are deep!

The A2325R head is the early A kerosene head. The late A gas heads, A3367R and A4226R knock about 6CI out of the combustion chamber and will increase your compression.
