Heard of a man in SC named Funderburk that makes pulling parts for deeres. Was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with him and his pulling parts? Wondering if his closeness to home is an advantage or to send the parts to the midwest!

JdPuller the trouble with the Funderburk block you will have to use a spacer plate(dirty word).Call Jerry"s in Wichata,Ks 1-316-838-1908 he has the the long blocks and heads and piston's. Rick Funderburk is a nice person young, that's trying to do to much to quick. If Rick had of done a little more reaearch he never would have built the short block (styled "G"block).Jerry in Wichita has been in the machining business 40 yrs. and Rick is just 30 yrs. old that will explain alot,so don't sell Rick short he just needs some more experience. Jerry's or Schooler Motorsports is your answer. Gman

Jailbird,

dont know what you pull but noone at SATPA can handle their daughters A from what I can see. They cant beat her A whats the point of building a G . They did pull a G for a while and all of those big bad farmall super Ms just didnt have anything for it, and that tractor was stock as they come from john deere. Dont talk junk about pulling against a built tractor when you cant beat a stock one. If they built one of them Gs all everyone in the(SATPA) ,Suck A$$ Tractor Pulling Association, would do is cry. Their is no point taking a tractor somewhere when all that is going to happen is it get protested before they take it off the trailer. I go to have fun and getting protested every pull isnt fun. Folks at SATPA Shouldn't have tractors. baby bottles or pacifiers are more along their lines.

Do a lot of asking around at pulls. Search the archives of this page, use the keyword "Fuderburk" also ask around on other sites like Rummy's. A friend of mine got a G block from him, I think it took a lot to get it right. Gman who visits here from time to time has a Funderburk block, search around some I'm sure you can find his email adress(search for Gman not G-MAN) Good luck, research! Fireman

Never bought anything but pulled against a tractor with one of the engines he built. The worst I've heard is that he takes his time when doing something but from what I saw, it would be worth the wait. My 2 cents

Key phrase here is "Takes his time". Be very careful.
