What is the reason none of these pulls have a Div. IV? Seems like they are hurting their pocket book by excluding the class. I would think more people would build them and maybe more spectators would come if they had another class that put a little excitement and speed into a pull. You don't have near the money tied up in a smaller, say four cylinder, tractor as you would a big six cylinder. Fans in the seats means more money for the pullers, possibly. If they have a sled that will handle a Div. V tractor it seems stupid not to have Div. IV class.I'm really curious why this class is excluded.

Would be great if there are pulls that offered a more open class on a local basis! Id say insurance policies have something to do with it,,,, that and sleds not capable of stopping a high HP machine at full speed. Our club sled is pushing 30,000# and I know it would have trouble stopping a 5500# tractor running 10mph. 4 mph no problems,,, maybe evolution will finally catch on and let us run. Or maybe not. If there was a pull like this in my backyard, id be there! HAHA!!
