Justa Poor Ole Puller
I hate that you feel that way about me and the Dixie Iron Club. We put on 10 to 12 pulls each year, and deal with a lot of good people and pullers. Sometimes you can't please everyone. If we have that many UNPLEASED people, it is hard for me to see how we have 150 plus hooks each pull. I CAN NOT control what problems we have with the sled. We do the best we can with what we have to do with. If you need to talk to me personally about the problem you had or are having with me or the Dixie Iron Club, You know my name and my phone number is 662-538-2050. Sorry you feel the way you do, I hope you can find a place to pull where there is no problems with rules or the sled.
Phil Smith

Phil
You and Mr Daniels apparently have taken my comments out of context. The first thing I said was I have no problem with you or anyone else in the Dixie Iron Club. I was merely stating my opinon about the rules about pulling in specified gears rather than having speed limits.

I am sorry I have insulted you and Mr Daniels. Apparently this forum is only for joking around and not stating opinions, therefore I will never post again.

Thank you and Dixie Iron for the hard work with the pulls.

As they say and I agree If you can't run with the big dogs stay on the porch and let you mama lick your wounds over losing that $4.00 trophy.

And as always I don't mind people knowing who the real Confederate is and if you don't like what I say Sonny Daniels is the name and the number is 901-461-4373.

Im my opinion the pull at Holly Springs was a big mess! Phil Smith and the other guys at Dixie Iron are all good people and fine pullers to be around but their sled is a mess! Additionally their rules have some major problems: Pulling in specific gears is not fair when you have Olivers and M's with changed rear end gearing which makes them faster than the other Tractors in the same gears who can't afford these high dollar modifications, also most of them are violating the RPM rules something awful. If you have "open" or "outlaw" tractors then stay in your classes or don't pull! The only solution is SPEED LIMITS which negates the advantage these rule breakers have.

Mr. Clark told me that the MSFW would be adding speed limits at their MD pull plus adding OPEN CLASSES for the ones who want to go fast. That is the only solution to the situation!

I am not whining or trying to talk bad about the Dixie Iron people. However, facts are facts and no one can refute what I have said in this response as not being true.
