I have a set off of an 88 here in Western PA that will work on your M, 2.75 axle. Where in PA are you?

An interesting story to accompany the statement of massey hubs being junk. My great uncle was telling me about the Super MD his dad bought new. A little later the Massey dealership challenged him to a plowing contest to advertise the 44. About as soon as they got to plowing a hub broke on the 44. Moral of story: The massey hubs that size were never good.

I use JD 2010 hubs. My M is putting out 80 HP and I have had no problems at all with the hubs. A Friend of mine is using the JD 2010 hubs on his 560 Diesel and he hasn't had any problems either. I have read not to use Massey 44 hubs because they will not handle the power of a good M. Here is the kicker with the JD2010 hubs. You have to take one of you axel clamps and the JD 2010 hub to a machinist to have keys made for JD hubs that will accept the taper of the M's axle. The JD 2010 hub key is the same width as the the M but the 2010 key is square not tapered. I think it cost me $40 per key. I had them make new ones out of hardened steel. I got those hubs for $50 so it was cheaper than buying M&W hubs. M&W hubs can be found but the cheapest ones I could find were $500. I'm sure that they are out there for less, I just couldn't find them.
