I pull a Farmall M with better than 100hp. Eveyone around here says that the bigger your tires are, the better you will pull. I have a pull this weekend on an older clay track where I can run my front cut tires. I have a set of uncut 18.4 x 38 Armstrongs, and a set of 16.9 x 38 Firestone 23 degree radials that are front cuts. What do you guys think I should run? I will be running a 4mph paced class. Im still new to this, Thanks for the help.

If you are talking taller, with your HP I would think yes. I would say it"s a guess on going wider. I run A W-6 with 16.9 30s and all I do is spin out. I can"t seem to find a sweet spot with this tractor. I haven"t even put the motor under stress yet, but I"m having fun and I think I"m making progress. Good Luck with which ever tire you choose. I would like to know what all you did to get 100HP out of that motor. Charles

Other than speeding up ground travel. Going to a TALLER tire will usually provide more pull given everything else is identical.
