Does anyone know if a 407 out of a 856 IH will fit in a 656? Any info helpful , thank you.

Yes a 360 would bolt in with the correct back plate and 360/312 fly wheel.

There is no flywheel that is a bolt-in, a 360 engine was used in a 666, that would allow a 312,366,414,436,466 bolt-in.
