The phone number for Robert's Carburetor Repair is 712-262-5311. Web site is:www.robertscarbrepair.com e-mail is: rbeaver@robertscarbrepair.com
Hope this helps you, but I agree with the person that told you that a dltx 71 runs as well on a stock G as a dltx 51, if you are burning gasoline instead of kerosene or distilate.

The bigger question is do you feel you "NEED" the extra volume. The late A 71's work well on the A's and G's and they are more reasonable in price compared to the 51's

Call Robert's Carburetor Repair - he's going to modify the A carb that was on my G to work on it. He claims it will be able to support 800 cubic inches when he's done, although I won't be anywhere near that. He seems very knowledgeable and helpful. Just my two cents. Plus the waiting list is shorter for performance carbs - he told me it would take about a month, rather than the 3 to 4 that stock rebuilds take.

I don't have his number here handy, but he has a website that has it. Just search for Robert's Carburetor Repair and you should find it, no problem. I spoke to Robert himself, and he sure sold me. He's very helpful and courteous, and will take the time to answer all your questions.

SB. I have no problem with the fact you want to do the carb yourself rather than pay me or Roberts to do your carb. All you have to do is get a # 51 carb and take it apart. Get a # 71 carb and take it apart and compare them. Start to cut. I ruined one before I got It figured out. I didnt think that was too high of a price to pay to learn. You can make both of those carbs bigger to run 800 plus cubes without a fuel pump.Do one and let us know what you think is a fair price to pay to have one done. How many hours? Earl

Seamo does the carb on my tractor and it works perfect. The performance will out weigh the cost. Scott Boehler

He's probably trying to make a buck to cover some of his 'hobby' costs, just like many of us do. If that's what you want to do, take your measurements first (pre-machine) & compare when you get it back. Make sure to use wire gauges to measure idle circuit, etc. Then next time, you'll be all set! Knowledge is valuable!
