How long is your chain for 5500 or 6000 class?

Hi Ethan: We use a short chain and I believe that at the 5500 or 6000 lb. class its increased to about six foot or more. We do this to eliminate adding weight to the box. If we have to determine a winner in a pulloff of the 6500 lb. class a chain is added under the plate. I don't operate the sled so I can't tell the exact chain length and we have several different lengths as well as a change in the pulling point on the plate. Jerry

A reminder about our tire sizes. We allow cuts but 15.5 tires are the max allowed in the antique class but up to 18.4 is allowed in the plus classes. No one will go home without pulling, But our scales is limited to 6500 lbs.and heaver demostraters will be estimated. Jerry
