how do all these people get 175 horse outof a minneapolis u? I know some, but am looking to do it right, or not at all.

John, Moline is real unique because you can interchange heads,blocks, crankshafts manifolds and much more. Most of it is bolt on with very little machine work or modifcation .Example stock 'U' bore 4.1/4 800 blocks 5.319 bore before boring and sleeving. So there are alot of combination out there.Needless to say they were very powerfull to begin with and built pretty rugged.I never owned one but I like to watch them run. They are like the old 'D' Deere after they built the tractor they happen to remember they need to find a place for the seat.
