I have a set of 14.9-38 good year super torque tires that are about 1/3 tread with good road wear pattern, and am wondering if they will be any good for pulling sense they are a squiggle bar and not straight, and haven't seen many used? ill be using them in 4500-6500 class. thanks for any input!

We had a set like you are describing, and they worked really good. We used them in 6000# class, just get the right air pressure and rim width.

I had 15.5 Super Torques for a while and done ok with them on 14 inch wide rims.I sold them to a man who pulls an Allis and at the pull after he put them on he had some 1st place pulls. They did ok on my Oliver but I never got them to bite on a real loose track.I switched to Firestones and so far it has been noticibly better in loose conditions.
