I'm working on a john deere g pulling tractor, I had planned on having the engine bored to around 600 CI. Are there any cubic inch regulations in farm stock? If I were to pull in hobbystock what RPM's would be best to run in a john deere G?

Hey thanks for the advice man, i"m not sure on how much it can be bored and stroked but ive seen up to 850 CI in a G, but I was thinking that might be pushing it if im going to run higher rpm"s. I"m going to look into that some more before i start. I know some people are using electric cooling fans in their deeres do they make that big of a difference compared to the original fan?

Does anyone know wether or not the Luck WI pull was re-scheduled after being rained out? Or if the pull will be held next year?

Have it bored as large as possible then stroke it as well. Not sure how much you can stroke one but I know it is alot. Shave the heads, change valves, lighten everything as much as possible.

As for RPM's increase them about 30% most farmstock rules say 10% but what the heck.

Then throw a set of uncut tires on the thing and go pulling against those other tractors that are in Farmstock. Heck you might as well do what alot of other folks are doing.
