The dt407 will still not be enough to be competitive. What injection pump can you use in the class you want to pull in? If it's a 466 class, you should run the maximum cubic inch. Tonight I'm putting a dt414 in a 706 just to be competitive in 8500 lb class. Good luck!

I pull a stock 1206 in 9500 and 12000 lbs classes. It"s not worth your time or money to make the motor a 466. Start out with a DT466 to be competive. There are more performance parts out on the market already for the DT466. Best of luck to you! P.S. If you want to sell your DT361 I could use a back up!

I agree do NOT use that motor from your 1206 to build with. It will NEVER run as good as a dt466 block
