I have an old Farmall A that i have been wanting to make into a light weight stone boat and T- sled puller in the 2500#,2750#,3000#. What can i do to the motor to get more power out of it. It needs a complete engine rebuild as it is. Thank you for the help.

I know in our area there are a few little A's and B's (and lot of C's) in the light classes, and they seem to do well. I do not know the specifics, but there is a c 135 engine that seems to be in the C-113 family, and I believe there is one size larger than this. My buddy's 340 farmall has a 135 in it, and it should be able to turn some large 24 in rubber with ease, as it's got a lot of power for a small engine. There are a lot of combos with this little engine, and a lot of rpm's to be turned. I'll get specifics, as soon as I could. and get back to you.

Yes, get a Oliver 77 with a 1135 Massey Ferguson motor. They are allowed to pull stock around here.

I have a Farmall B that is putting out 25hp at 540 pto (but it was running lean)and 32 at 620. All I have in it is a Tisco 3 1/8 over bore kit with the domed pistons and a head off a 140 along with the manifold with the stock cam for now. I rejetted it so hopfully it has a little more. The head has been cut and it is putting out about 210LBS of Compression.
