Well, what a good weekend of pulling. The CAFPC pull at Eagle brought in quite a crew of outsiders as well as most of our own members. It was nice to see a Case CC, Cockshutt 570, and some Fordsons break up the red, green, and orange color scheme a bit. We had enough hooks to make the mudding trucks wait outside the entrance gates for our pull to end.The downtown Fowler pull was quite a surprise. Turnout was huge despite the fact that it wasn't even listed on our schedule. Folks clawed their way down the rock hard sun baked track struggling for a bite. It should be a great location for the parish festival next summer. So thanks again to everyone in attendance. You've made CAFPC events fun and competitive! Channel 6 News was there to get some pulling footage from Fowler's 150th birthday celebration. Maybe someone can get a copy of our pull coverage. I just assumed Channel 6 was the paparazzi chassing Marky Weber around for exclusive footage. His fan club gives good money for that stuff. Were they at the beer tent the night before?
