I have a farmall 400 and i am thinking of taking the stock tricycle front end out and wish bone and building a wide front with a rack and pinion. It would make my tractor a lot lighter. is that legal in division 3. I pull 4 mph class.

A farmall has a heavy front end bolster and horse shoe with cast rims. I am taking all of that out and just putting a farmall A or cub front end that bolts directly to the frame with a rack and pinion. that will lose me a lot of weight .

Put an engine in that thing that won't choke and weight it down.

Probably because the new front end system would weigh less than the one he replaced with it. If one parts weighs less, the whole tractor will weigh less.
