At our club fun pull on Memorial Day, our club added a double tree pull at the 6500# & 4500# classes. Basically you have two tractor connected at each end of a long steel beam which is connected in the middle to the sled with another chain. It is a little tricky maintaining your ground speed, traction for each tractor, and spin out points. It was a nice change and fun to watch. I pulled my JD G and my brother in law pulled our Farmall 400. The tractors wanted to fight each other from start to finish LOL.

I always wanted to do that at our club, but got slamed down every time, thought it would of been more fair for the smaller tractors on that phony hard starting sled. Glad you had fun, wish I could have been there. A G and D side by side???
what do you think?
Bob

Wonder why there is resistance. I thought it would really increase the total time of the pull but we only had 7 pairs in the 6500# class.

The wife was with her Dad so I personally don't have any photos. I am hoping to get some pictures to post for those who are interested.

Twin stacks on your D and the straight pipe on my G?? That's music to my ears!!!!! !!

Burns::::::::::::::>>>>>>>> You come up to Stoneboro with your G and you and I can hook up on the double-tree together. I have hooked up with G's before and we been unbeatable. That is both at 9500# each. One I teamed with has a yellow rose on the side. You may know who that was.
